Harris-McBurney Company is looking for foremen to lead dirt work crews on site prep projects. Candidates must be able to provide complete supervision and responsibility for the job site field operations including daily production, costs, safety, organization, and labor & equipment management. We need leaders that are able control the project and time constraints to meet construction deadlines. A strong background in site prep is required.
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
-Minimum 3 years of experience as a foreman in site prep work
-Strong communication and organizational skills
-Ability to prepare work plans, schedule, and direct work crews
-Strong knowledge of plans and specifications
-Understanding of working safely and OSHA requirements
-Proficient skills with lasers, line & grade
-Knowledge of deep excavation and dewatering is a plus
-CDL license is preferred
-Pass pre-employment screenings, including drug screen, criminal background, and I-9 verification
