Estimator

Harris-McBurney Company is looking for an Estimator to join our growing water/site prep division and assist our Senior Estimator. At least 3 years of estimating experience with water/sewer placement and/or site work for both governmental and private entities is required.

Candidates must be able to do the following:
-Identify new bid opportunities
-Attend pre-bid meetings, perform site visits and analyze RFP, plans, and other documents to determine the scope of work and bid contents
-Consult and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers
-Prepare complete and competitive quotes
-Participate in initial and ongoing meetings with the project management team
-Pass pre-employment screenings including drug screen, criminal background, and I-9 verification
